Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Malaysia invites an Optometrist to deliver comprehensive eye care in our retail stores. You will perform eye examinations, diagnose visual problems, prescribe corrective lenses, and advise on eye health, collaborating with store staff to ensure exceptional service.

You bring a Bachelor of Optometry with Honors and strong clinical skills, plus excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Bachelor of Optometry with Honors from an accredited institution.
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in conducting eye examinations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment.

• Address patient concerns and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards governing the practice of optometry.

Your Role

The Optometrist is responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to customers within the retail store setting. They perform eye examinations, diagnose visual problems, prescribe corrective lenses, and offer expert advice on eye health and maintenance. The Optometrist collaborates with other team members to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include closing sales, conducting eye examinations, prescribing visual aids, maintaining patient records, and staying updated on optometry practices and technologies.
