Job summary

Assistant Accounts Manager (Operations) / Account Supervisor

The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager in Accounting to join our dynamic team at Tarmah Sewing Machine (M) Sdn Bhd based in Batu Pahat, Johor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in our Financial Accounting & Reporting division, contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Departmental Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the Group Accounting Department while supervising, guiding, and motivating the Accounts team.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage full sets of accounts (P&L and Balance Sheets) and finalize the financial year-end accounts for submission to the auditors.
• Treasury & Cash Flow: Monitor daily fund flows, prepare monthly management reports, cash flow forecasts, and aging reports to ensure strict liquidity control.
• Process Optimization: Review and improve accounting controls, work processes, and departmental procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Statutory Compliance: Liaise directly with auditors and tax agents for annual corporate audits, key year-end closures, and taxation matters.
• Performance Management: Delegate departmental tasks, evaluate team performance, and review the KPIs of the Accounts staff.

Requirements
