Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is expected.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Record and post financial transactions to the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies between records and bank transactions.
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
• Conduct general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis as required.
• Adhere to accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
