Sasaran Naluri Sdn Bhd in Penampang, Sabah, invites applications for an Account Assistant on a full-time basis. You will perform daily accounting duties, data entry, invoices, payments, and maintain records in SQL Account.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, basic bookkeeping knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Experience with SQL Account is preferred and you will assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience using SQL Account software/system is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily accounting duties, including data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining accounting records.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly account closing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using the SQL Account accounting system.
• Enter and update customer, supplier, payment, receipt, and transaction information in the SQL Account system.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on accounts receivable when required.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and ensure records are complete and organized.
• Assist the Accountant with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
