Boon Boon Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Assistant to join our Finance team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full-time role supports day-to-day accounting operations, processes transactions and provides administrative support to the accounting department.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Diploma or Degree preferred).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices and receipts.
• Maintaining and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Preparing financial documents and reports under supervision.
• Data entry and updating of accounting records in the system.
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Filing and recording-keeping of financial documents.
• Handling payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Assisting with audit activities and documentation.
