Job summary

CTI International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assembly Technician to read engineering diagrams, assemble mechanical and electrical components, and perform quality checks. The role requires hands-on work, potential overtime, and teamwork within a cleanroom environment.

You will collaborate with the team to ensure parts meet quality standards before installation. The position emphasizes soldering, cable routing, and problem solving in a semiconductor/healthcare-focused manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• SPM/Certificate, Diploma or equivalent required; related certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in mechanical or electrical assembly roles.
• Hands-on role in cleanroom environment preferred.
• Willingness to be on-call for breakdowns and overtime as needed.
• Strong work ethics, integrity and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical engineering diagrams or OMS.
• Assemble and install mechanical components.
• Assemble and install electrical components; soldering, crimping and wire termination.
• Familiar with semiconductor mechanical assembly practices (torquing, tube flaring, bending, cable routing).
• Test assemblies under supervision to verify quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; document issues.
• Coordinate with team to receive parts and perform audits for defects prior to installation.

Familiarity with semiconductor mechanical assembly BKM’s: Torquing, Tube flaring and bending, cable routing, i.e.

Test assemblies under supervision

Trouble shooting and problem solving

Coordination and collaboration with Team to resolve problems Receive parts and perform audits (Inspecting parts for defects) to ensure it meets quality standards prior to install

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM/ Certificate, Diploma or equivalent. Certification in related field is a plus

2 years minimum in mechanical or electrical assembly position, both skill set is a plus

Has a passion for hands‑on role, comfortable to work in cleanroom environment

Comfortable with being called-up for possible equipment breakdown and working overtime hours whenever needed

Good work ethics, integrity, team player
