Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking an Assembly Technician in Malaysia to work on semiconductor automation equipment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this entry-level role with rotating shifts and in-person operations.

The position requires reading schematic diagrams and BOM lists, with basic qualifications in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or mechatronics. You will assemble components, perform tests, troubleshoot with engineers, and maintain records with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components according to drawings and work instructions.
• Conduct functional tests to verify system performance and specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues with engineers and production teams.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure quality, safety and compliance.
• Maintain assembly and testing records and suggest process improvements.
• Support site installations, customer training and technical troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, organised workplace through 7S practices.

Assembly Technician (Semiconductor | Fresh Graduates Welcome)

Work with leading automation in semiconductor manufacturing MNC

Working Days:Monday - Friday, Shift Rotation (Must be willing to work any of the 2 shifts)
Salary:RM2,000 - RM2,800 (+ Meal, Shift, Transport Allowance + OT + Completion Bonus Every 6 Months)
Employment:6-12 Months Contract with Full-Time Benefits (In-person)
Shifts:Rotating Morning & Night Shift

AM: 8:30am - 5:30pm

PM: 10:30pm - 7:30am

Key responsibilities

Assemble mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components according to drawings and work instructions.

Conduct functional tests to verify system performance and specifications.

About you

Minimum SKM, Diploma or Degree qualification, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics

Able to read schematic diagram + BOM list

Must be willing to work on rotating shifts

Able to work in a cleanroom and follow PPE and ESD requirements
