Job summary

Dahua Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced assembler to join our production team in Penang. You will perform production activities based on Engineering work instructions, assembling mechanical and electrical components according to drawings and specifications.

The role requires hands-on assembly skills, a minimum of three years in a related field, and a focus on quality, timely delivery, and safety.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• More than 3 years of experience in related field.
• Hands-on skill in mechanical or electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform production activities based on work instructions from Engineering team.
• Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components per drawings and specifications.
• Ensure quality, accuracy and timely readiness of produced goods.
• Test and troubleshoot systems to detect and solve problems.
• Conduct visual inspections to meet quality standards.
• Verify kitted parts against drawings for correct part numbers and quantities.
• Maintain accurate records of production data and test results.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control and production for efficient assembly.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure tool and equipment traceability and accountability for losses.
• Resolve issues and provide feedback on solutions.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Cooperate with overtime responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job description

1. Perform production activities based on work instruction provided by Engineering team.

2. Assembling mechanical and/or electrical components to build complex systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.

3.Ensure quality, accuracy and timely readiness of goods produced.

4.Testing and troubleshooting systems to detect and solve technical problems.

5. Conducting visual inspections of components and completed systems to ensure quality standards are met.

6. Obtain and verify kitted (pre-picket) detail parts and assemblies were issued correctly by comparing part numbers and quantities to drawing.

7. Maintaining accurate records of production data, testing results, and other reports related to the assembly process.

8. Collaborating with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and production to ensure efficient assembly processes

9.Making recommendations for improvements to the assembly process to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.

10.Ensure tool and equipment traceability and accountable for it loses.

11.Solve and resolve issues & feedback problems and solutions.

12.Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

13. Keeping tools and work areas clean and organized.

14.Cooperate with the company’s overtime responsibilities according to the needs.

15.Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements

At least a Certificate Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronics/Electromechanical) or equivalent experience.

More than 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
