Job summary

Schmaco Auto Parts Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a production operator to assemble and swage metal parts according to company specifications and work instructions in a clean, safe environment.

You will maintain daily productivity targets, report defects, keep tools and fixtures in place, and uphold housekeeping and safety rules; training on procedures will be provided.

Responsibilities

• To assemble and swage metal parts according to company specifications and work instructions.
• To learn and understand procedures, work instructions and operations of machines.
• To ensure daily productivity targets are met.
• To inform line leader of any defect or non-conforming products.
• To maintain and store jigs and fixtures properly after use.
• To operate machines safely to avoid accidents.
• To complete daily work records and reports.
• To keep WIP slips intact with each batch of products.
• To ensure proper storage and labeling of WIP products.
• To maintain tools and equipment in good condition and safe to use.
• To keep the working area and machines clean and tidy before leaving.
• To ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and adherence to safety and health regulations.
• To comply with company rules & regulations as per appointment letter.
• To assist and perform any other related duties as assigned by superior.

Job description

To ensure all of the metal parts are properly assembled and swaged according to company's specifications and work instruction;

To learn and understand procedure and work instruction and operations of machine;

To ensure production of goods met daily productivity target;

To inform line leader on any defective or non-conforming products or work done;

To keep jig and fixture in their place accordingly after used;

To operate machine in cautions and safe way to avoid accidents;

To perform daily work recording and report;

To ensure all WIP slips are intact with each batch of products;

To ensure proper storage and labelling on WIP products;

To keep supplied tools and equipment in well maintenance and safe;

To ensure working area and machine are clean and tidy before leaving work place;

To ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and adhesive of safety and health regulation;

To adhere to the company's rules & regulations ad stipulated in the appointment letter;

To assist and perform any other related duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
