The ideal candidate has a Malaysian Skill Certificate in mechanical/mechatronics/electrical, at least two years in conveyor manufacturing, good drawing

Qualifications

• Malaysian Skill Certificate in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in conveyor manufacturing.
• Read drawings well and E-plan and can spot mistakes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Assemble conveyor components, including drive packages (motors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets) and structural frames based on blueprints and Bills of Materials.
• Install and wire electrical components, pneumatics, and control devices.
• Inspect finished assemblies to ensure functionality, proper alignment, and appearance.
• Use drills, grinders, and band saws to modify parts to meet specifications and comply to EN standard.
• Record production data, maintain maintenance logs, and update inventory on WIP material.

What this role entails:

A Conveyor Assembler constructs, tests, and installs industrial conveyor systems by reading blueprints, assembling mechanical/electrical components (motors, belts, rollers), and using hand/power tools. They ensure product quality, verify specifications, and maintain a safe workspace.

Key responsibilities

Assemble conveyor components, including drive packages (motors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets) and structural frames based on blueprints and Bills of Materials.

Install and wire electrical components, pneumatics, and control devices.

Inspect finished assemblies to ensure functionality, proper alignment, and appearance.

Use tools like drills, grinders, and band saws to modify parts to meet specifications and comply to EN standard.

About you

Malaysian Skill Certificate in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical and equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of conveyor manufacturing.

Can read drawings well and E-plan and can spot any mistakes.

Good in Microsoft office application.

Good interpersonal and communication skill.

Ability to work as a team.

Can speak English / Bahasa Malaysia well.

Able to remember every part of number.

Ability to lift up to 20 Kg.
