Job summary

Argyll Scott in Malaysia is recruiting a VP/Chief Procurement Officer Asia to lead and strengthen the regional procurement function across multiple Asian markets, based in Selangor. The role combines procurement transformation, commercial value creation and hands-on execution with a strong focus on logistics and transportation procurement.

You will build and guide regional teams, drive strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and governance, and translate strategy into measurable business

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of procurement experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles across regions.
• Strong logistics and transportation procurement expertise with major contracts and cost savings.
• Experience managing diverse categories in complex multi-country operations.
• Proven track record in procurement transformation, strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Commercial, influential and hands-on leader with strong negotiation and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional procurement strategy across Asian markets.
• Lead strategic sourcing for transportation, warehousing, leasing, facilities, capex and services.
• Drive high-value supplier negotiations and country-level contract optimization.
• Lead procurement transformation via standardisation, digitalisation, analytics and CI.
• Build high-performing regional and in-market teams with senior stakeholders.
