Job summary

SC Johnson GmbH in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Associate Manager Procurement to lead regional logistics sourcing across APAC. You will develop category strategies, manage RFQs, and drive cost improvements with cross-functional teams.

You will build robust supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and deliver measurable value while aligning with global contracts. Strong Excel and data analytics, plus knowledge of SAP or Coupa, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, and logistics/supply chain categories.
• Strong cross-cultural awareness and ability to work across multiple organizational levels and countries (APAC experience desirable).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English skills; Chinese language skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional logistics procurement strategies and supplier selection.
• Manage end-to-end competitive sourcing events, RFQ/RFP design, bid evaluation and supplier due diligence.
• Develop detailed cost build-ups, should-cost models and Total Cost of Ownership analyses.
• Lead regional negotiation strategy and execution, including rate structures and payment terms.
• Maintain SRM with key carriers, forwarders and 3/4PL providers; drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to track savings and ensure governance.
