Argyll Scott in Malaysia is seeking an experienced VP / Chief Procurement Officer Asia to lead and strengthen the regional procurement function from Selangor.

This senior leadership role drives procurement transformation, cost optimization, and supplier governance across Asian markets, with hands-on execution in logistics and transportation.

The successful candidate will translate strategy into measurable business outcomes through cross-functional collaboration with finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of procurement experience, including in senior leadership roles with regional responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in logistics and transportation procurement with proven cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional procurement strategy across Asian markets.
• Lead strategic sourcing across key categories: transportation, warehousing, facilities and outsourced services.
• Drive supplier negotiations, contract optimisation and performance management with hands-on country-level involvement.
• Lead procurement transformation through process standardisation, digitalisation and analytics.
• Build and develop regional and in-market procurement teams with senior business and finance stakeholders.
