Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a data-driven Regional Procurement & Supplier Manager to lead procurement strategies and supplier relationships across Southeast Asia from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will shape cost-efficient operations, champion sustainability, and align regional activities with corporate goals.

You will manage a small team, monitor KPIs across depots and vendors, drive contract excellence, and ensure continuous improvement in service quality and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of procurement, supplier management and contract negotiations experience.
• Experience in shipping/logistics sector is highly preferred.
• Track record of building and monitoring supplier performance metrics (cost, quality, delivery).
• End-to-end contract lifecycle management and risk mitigation experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional procurement strategies for Southeast Asia (Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines).
• Partner with procurement heads in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia to align regional strategy.
• Manage a lean team of 2 direct reports and oversee vendor performance across depots, truckers, and terminals.
• Drive sustainability and green logistics in all procurement activities.
• Maintain contract templates and lifecycle oversight to avoid service disruptions.
• Lead regular performance reviews with high-spend vendors and implement corrective actions.
