Step into a high-impact role with a premier, globally recognized shipping and logistics powerhouse. We are looking for an ambitious, data-driven Regional Procurement & Supplier Manager to architect cost-effective operations and drive vendor excellence across Southeast Asia.
In this role, you won't just be pushing paper—you will be a crucial commercial partner. You will lead procurement strategies, champion sustainability, and steer high-level vendor relationships to ensure our regional supply chain remains agile, competitive, and highly efficient.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Strategic Sourcing & Regional Leadership
- Spearhead procurement strategies and operations for Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, and the Philippines, ensuring total alignment with high-level corporate goals .
- Act as a collaborative partner to procurement leads in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia to drive a unified, consistent regional strategy .
- Lead and mentor a lean team of 2 direct reports, fostering a culture of operational excellence .
- Provide strategic support to the broader Operations Steering Support Team on critical regional initiatives .
- Own the performance matrix by tracking critical KPIs across vital logistics partners, including depots, truckers, feeders, and terminals .
- Lead regular, high-stakes performance review meetings with top-tier, high-spend vendors .
- Collaborate with Functional Managers to design and implement targeted corrective actions for underperforming suppliers .
- Champion green logistics by ensuring all procurement activities strictly adhere to our corporate sustainability goals and socially responsible practices .
- Contract Mastery & Risk Mitigation
- Architect, review, and maintain robust contract templates across your designated markets, ensuring flawless regulatory compliance .
- Proactively manage the entire contract lifecycle—from tracking expirations to leading timely renewals—ensuring zero service disruptions .
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- The Non-Negotiables:
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven expertise in procurement, supplier relationship management, and complex contract negotiations .
- Industry Knowledge: A strong background in the shipping liner or broader logistics industry is highly preferred .
- Performance Tracking: Deep experience building and tracking supplier performance metrics (KPIs) focused on cost reduction, service quality, and operational efficiency .
- Contractual Acumen: A proven track record of managing end-to-end contracts while successfully mitigating organizational risk .
- Communication: Exceptional spoken and written English proficiency , combined with the ability to negotiate, influence, and adapt .
- The Nice-to-Haves:
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) .
- Working knowledge of SAP systems is considered a strong advantage.
