Job summary

Cavotec is looking for an Area Sales Manager in Malaysia to drive business development and sales of new products for new and existing accounts. You will act as a Key Account Manager for top OEMs, harnessing technical and commercial skills to close opportunities and grow market share.

Regular travel is expected as part of expanding Cavotec's regional coverage, with a focus on developing strong relationships and delivering on revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of sales experience in a similar role.
• Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in new business development / hunter sales.
• Experience in general industry or mining sales desirable.
• Experience with ERP/CRM/Salesforce advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business leads and convert them into customers.
• Pursue, nurture, and close all leads to achieve growth.
• Analyze market coverage and opportunities to expand market share.
• Meet sales targets and revenue goals for the region.
• Manage customer relationships and contracts with key accounts.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender documentation.
