Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a highly motivated Area Manager to be the face of Client for unmanaged merchant partners in your designated area. You will build genuine relationships, solve problems, and empower merchants to grow their businesses, acting as the bridge between strategic goals and on-the-ground realities.

You will lead the Area Manager initiative, engage merchants, resolve issues, educate partners on Client tools, and collaborate with Sales, Ops, Marketing and Product to drive merchant

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a sales or account management role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must; Mandarin or Tamil is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Area Manager initiative with direct, face-to-face engagement in the region.
• Execute and oversee visit schedules, plan discussions, and ensure quality interactions.
• Deploy resources effectively and build trust with unmanaged merchants.
• Educate partners on Client tools to help them grow their business.
• Gather merchant feedback and relay insights to product, ops and support teams.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and become a local expert on merchant landscape.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product to enhance merchant experience.
• Drive process improvements and share best practices across Area Managers.
