Amane Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Area Manager to lead training and licensee support as the company expands from a single location to multiple stores. You will manage from pre-opening to post-opening follow-up, and you will work on-site as store staff while supporting crews at other locations.
You will train staff on food processes, ensure halal and safety compliance (JAKIM Halal, MeSTI, HACCP, GMP), and develop Q&A resources and updated SOPs.
We are looking for an Area Manager to lead training and licensee support as we prepare for multi-store expansion. As Pizza Amane Tokyo grows from a single location into multiple stores, you will take ownership of the process from new store opening preparation through post-opening follow-up support. You will work as an Area Manager based on-site as store staff yourself, while also supporting restaurant crews at other locations. Your core focus is to provide hands-on training and support so that stores run smoothly, and to serve as a go-to advisor who helps resolve issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for abstracting recurring issues across stores into Q&A resources and continuously updating manuals.
Key responsibilities
Own the process end-to-end for new store openings — from pre-opening preparation through post-opening follow-up
Work on-site as store staff yourself while providing training and support to restaurant crews at other locations
Serve as the go-to point of contact when operational issues arise, working alongside the on-site team to resolve them
Abstract recurring issues across stores into Q&A resources, and continuously update manuals and SOPs
Maintain consistency in quality standards, customer service levels, and regulatory compliance (JAKIM Halal, MeSTI, HACCP, GMP, etc.) across store operations
About you
Experience working in customer service as store staff within the F&B (food & beverage) industry
Willingness and capability to travel frequently to various outlet and kitchen locations as required by the training schedule
Excellent communication and instructional skills, with the ability to teach technical food processes and customer service skills to a diverse workforce
Understanding of Malaysian food safety laws, particularly JAKIM Halal guidelines, MeSTI, HACCP, and GMP standards, is a plus
