Job summary

DP Architects Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an architectural professional with a recognized degree and at least 2 years of experience to support healthcare projects. You will prepare drawings, schedules and material specs, translate concepts into workable designs, and present proposals.

Travel locally and internationally may be required as part of project coordination with consultants and clinicians. The role involves assisting the Architect across multiple projects, including tender drawings

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in architecture (LAM Part II) or equivalent qualification.
• LAM registration is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Well-versed with local codes, regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation including drawings, schedules and material specifications for healthcare environments.
• Interpret design concepts and translate them into workable solutions and ensure design quality and authority compliance.
• Conceptualize and present design proposals.
• Assist and support the Architect in executing multiple architectural projects.
• Assist in tender drawings and material specifications.
• Coordinate closely with specialist consultants, contractors, healthcare planners and clinicians.

Job description

Knowledge of fundamental principles and practices of architecture, construction materials and methods, and building codes;

Prepare documentation including drawings, schedules and material specifications suitable for healthcare environments;

Interpret design concept and translate them into workable solution and ensure design quality and authority compliance;

Conceptualize and present design proposal;

Assist and support Architect in executing multiple architectural projects;

Assist in tender drawings and material specifications;

Coordinate closely with specialist consultants, contractors, healthcare planners and clinicians;

Requirements

Recognized Degree in Architecture (LAM Part II) or equivalent qualification; registration with LAM is an added advantage;

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in architectural practice;

Well-verse with local codes, regulations, requirements and guideline;

Proficient in architectural and design software, including Revit and Photoshop;

Short-term training in Singapore may be required;

Must be willing to travel locally and internationally, as required.
