Job summary

Konzepte Asia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Architect to drive projects from concept through completion. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors and suppliers, and guide design development and detailing.

You will review designs and drawings for compliance with codes and client requirements, attend meetings, and lead design coordination. Strong communication and time management are essential for delivering quality work on time.

Qualifications

• Masters in Architecture or LAM Part II is required.
• 4–6 years of experience in architectural consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit and MS Office.
• Good knowledge of architectural design and detailing.
• Familiar with building codes, PAM Contract and authority submissions/guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; work independently and in a team.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle project from conceptual design to final completion stage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors and suppliers for design coordination and submissions.
• Work with the technical team in design development and detailing.
• Review designs, submissions, tender and construction drawings for compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Attend/chair CCMs, site meetings and design coordination/technical meetings; prepare minutes.
• Attend site inspections during construction to ensure workmanship quality.

Job description

To handle project from conceptual design to the final completion stage.

To liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors and suppliers for design coordination, authoritysubmissions and technical issues.

To work with technical team in design development and detailing.

To review design, authority submission, tender and construction drawings to ensure compliance with therelevant building codes, authorities’ requirements, design intention and client’s requirements.

To attend/chair CCMs, Site Meetings & Design Coordination/Technical Meetings and prepare meetingminutes.

To attend site inspection during construction to ensure good quality of workmanship.

Requirements

Master in Architecture/LAM Part II is required for this position.

At least 4 - 6 years of working experience in architectural consultancy field.

Good knowledge on architectural design and detailing.
