SmartHire by SEEK is seeking an Accounts Executive - Accounts Receivable (AR) to join their team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This role covers collections, deductions, reconciliations and financial reporting while working closely with customers and internal teams.

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software will support effective performance.
• Analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are valued.
• Organised and dependable, able to work independently and with others.

Mansioni

• Manage collections: Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments and support timely customer collections.
• Process deductions: Review and reconcile customer material deductions and back-charges accurately.
• Reconcile accounts: Complete monthly customer account reconciliations and help resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare reports: Produce AR ageing reports and maintain accurate, well-organised accounting records.
• Support closing: Assist with month-end closing, audit schedules and financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate stakeholders: Liaise with customers and internal departments on billing, payment and reconciliation matters.
