Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage daily AR functions in Malaysia. You will monitor payments, identify delays, resolve queries, and ensure accurate invoicing and cash posting. Strong Excel and ERP proficiency with 5+ years in finance are expected.

You will interact with customers on outstanding payments, participate in month-end close, and maintain controls and records within the accounting system. This role supports regional finance operations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections.
• Strong reconciliation and month-end closing experience.
• Comfortable interacting with customers regarding outstanding payments.
• Good understanding of accounting processes and financial controls.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily Accounts Receivable functions.
• Monitor customer payments and identify risk of delayed payments.
• Attend to and resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
• Proactively identify and resolve difficult debtors' accounts.
• Monitor and follow up on daily collections.
• Ensure invoices and receipts are processed correctly.
• Reconcile debtors aging and collections.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and update cashbook.
• Assist with month-end closing, including accruals, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Update and reconcile all AR records in the accounting system.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
