Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. You are a detail-oriented individual who loves numbers and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring accounts receivable, following up on payments, reconciling deductions, preparing AR ageing reports, and supporting month-end closing and financial reporting. A Diploma/degree in accounting and 2–3 years AR experience with Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting software.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organised, meticulous and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
• Process and reconcile customer material deductions and back-charges.
• Perform monthly customer account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare AR ageing reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with month-end closing, audit schedules and financial reporting.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments on billing, payment and reconciliation matters.
