Job summary

TRANSFINGO (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to manage end-to-end AR activities for Malaysia and Singapore clients from our Malaysia office.

You will prepare invoices, issue statements, record payments, and monitor ageing to ensure timely collections while complying with relevant GST and SST regulations. The role requires strong English communication, good numerical skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; 1–2 years' accounting, AR or audit experience is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and Accounts Receivable.
• Good command of English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin would be an advantage for client communication.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, UBS, Xero or other accounting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes and credit notes accurately and on time.
• Record and allocate customer payments in the accounting system.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and maintain updated AR ageing reports.
• Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare customer statements and assist in reconciling accounts.
