Job summary

Visual Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Application Support Executive to deliver technical and functional support for the flexHR HRMS suite across Malaysia. You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, and ensure smooth operation of HR modules such as Leave, Attendance, Payroll and ESS.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, basic SQL, and strong communication. Prior HRMS/HRIS or payroll knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Management or related disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience in Application Support, Software Support, System Support or HRMS Support.
• Basic SQL knowledge and database troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
• Knowledge of HRMS, HRIS, Payroll, Leave, Attendance, Claims or related HR applications is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level application support to customers via phone, email, remote support, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze reported issues, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support HRMS modules including Employee Information, Leave, Claims, Attendance, Payroll, Performance Management, Training and ESS.
• Perform basic database investigation and troubleshooting using SQL queries.
• Support deployment of software releases, patches, hotfixes and enhancements.
• Conduct testing and UAT activities before deployment.
• Prepare support documentation, user guides and knowledge base articles.
• Conduct user training and system walkthrough sessions when required.
• Collaborate with Consultants, Developers and Product Teams to improve product quality and customer experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Application Support Executive to provide technical and functional support for our FlexHR solutions, including HRMS, Payroll, Leave, Claims, Attendance, Performance Management, Training, and Employee Self-Service (ESS) modules.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers to troubleshoot application issues, investigate system and data-related problems, provide user guidance, and ensure smooth operation of HR solutions. Candidates with prior HRMS, HRIS, Payroll, or HR operational knowledge will have a distinct advantage.

• Basic SQL knowledge and database troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
• Knowledge of HRMS, HRIS, Payroll, Leave, Attendance, Claims or related HR applications is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Chinese language will be an added advantage, as the role involves overseas customers.
