Job summary

OCBC in Cyberjaya is seeking an Application Support professional to provide support and enhancements for banking applications. You will handle Level 2/3 production support, investigate issues, and assess impact from changes, with a focus on cross-border collaboration and timely delivery.

The role requires strong Java/.NET, database and OS knowledge, plus clear communication and teamwork. It offers 24x7 standby on a roster in a banking IT environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT production support experience in banking IT environments.
• Experience with Java/WebLogic or .NET/Microsoft IIS.
• Knowledge of Linux/UNIX or Windows Server and databases (MS SQL or Oracle).
• Willing to provide 24x7 offsite standby on rotation.
• Able to work with cross-border colleagues.
• Good communication and proactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and enhancement for applications used in the bank.
• Perform Level 2 and 3 of production support
• Perform problem investigation – problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development, and implementation.
• Understand the system design and provide impact analysis to any changes.
• Perform enhancement and defect fixing at code level.
• Manage system risks and conjure improvements to mitigate and manage risks
• Work closely with users to understand their needs & issues.
