Job summary

OCBC Bank in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, invites applications for an Application Support role with 18x7 shift coverage. The candidate will support Java or .NET based applications, middleware, and databases in a banking IT environment. Strong teamwork and cross-border collaboration are valued.

Location is Cyberjaya with 9-hour shifts. Experience in production support and incident management is preferred, along with knowledge of MS SQL or Oracle databases.

Qualifications

• Experience in application support for banking/financial services.
• Willingness to work in 18x7 rotation with 9-hour shifts.
• Proficiency with Java or .NET based applications and middleware.
• Knowledge of Linux/UNIX or Windows Server environments.
• Database knowledge in MS SQL or Oracle.
• Good communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and enhancement for applications used in the bank.
• Perform Level 2 of production support
• Perform problem investigation – problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development, and implementation.
• Understand the system design and provide impact analysis to any changes.
• Perform application health check and monitoring
