Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya is seeking an experienced application support specialist to provide Level 2 production support and enhancements for banking applications. You will understand system design, perform impact analysis, and monitor health checks in a fast paced financial environment.

The role requires knowledge of SIBS or SICS, AS400 programming (RPG/LE, CL/LE), and batch processing with tools like Control-M and Connect Direct.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge in SIBS or SICS
• AS400 programming (RPG/LE, CL/LE)
• Experience with handler method and batch job execution in AS/400 subsystem
• Proactive and team oriented with good communication
• Willingness to provide 24x7 standby on rotation
• Able to work at Menara OCBC or Cyberjaya

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and enhancement for applications used in the bank.
• Perform Level 2 of production support
• Perform problem investigation – root cause analysis, solution definition, development, and implementation.
• Understand the system design and provide impact analysis to any changes.
• Perform application health check and monitoring
