Job summary

Beijing XXX Technology Co., Ltd. is seeking a Regional Sales Director / Head of Sales for Asia-Pacific, based in Malaysia and initially home-based. You will own the APAC overseas sales business from zero, build the channel network, recruit the team, and report to Headquarters, Overseas Sales Management.

You will lead commercial negotiations, manage key customers, travel regionally to open markets, and scale the overseas team to 1 as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in communications/electronics preferred.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in the communications industry with overseas sales experience in instruments or network equipment across Asia-Pacific.
• Existing customer resources and ability to build a team from 0 to 1.
• Professional working proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional regional language is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Asia-Pacific market ecosystem; strong customer maintenance and refined channel operations.
• Strong goal orientation, stress resistance, and a track record of stable performance.

Responsibilities

• Own APAC overseas sales and meet annual regional targets; manage target decomposition, execution and periodic review.
• Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with core customers, including operators, network equipment vendors, optical module manufacturers and research institutes.
• Recruit, manage and empower regional agents and partners; standardize channel management and improve regional coverage and output.
• Lead regional projects end to end: negotiations, deepen customer relationships, ensure delivery and payment collection, collaborate with pre-sales on deployment.
• Gather regional market trends, customer needs and competitive intelligence to support brand promotion and product iteration.
• Build the overseas team from 0 to 1 as the business grows; travel regularly to visit customers in the region and to headquarters.
