Job summary

Valmet Sdn Bhd is seeking an Application Engineering Manager to lead a centralized Quotation Hub across Asia Pacific, delivering accurate, timely, and competitive quotations that support sales and customers.

You will manage a small team, collaborate with sales, product management, operations, finance, distributors, and customers, and drive standardized processes, CPQ adoption, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant professional experience in sales support, quotation management, order management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a centralized Quotation Hub supporting quotation activities across the Asia Pacific region.
• Ensure accurate, competitive, and technically sound quotations that meet customer requirements and internal approval processes.
• Manage the quotation process and act as a key point of contact to support sales activities and customer orders.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, operations, finance, service teams, and product managers to ensure quotation and order accuracy.
• Support customers, distributors, and sales teams by resolving quotation, order, and complaint-related issues.
• Provide technical application and commercial support throughout the quotation-to-order process.
• Define and implement standardized quotation and order-handling processes, including CPQ tool adoption and support.
• Lead onboarding, training, and development programs for team members, distributors, and agents.
• Drive process improvements and maintain structured, traceable documentation and filing practices.
• Monitor quotation volume, hit rates, win/loss trends, SFDC activities, and team workload to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
