Jora Malaysia is looking for an HR Specialist (Payroll) to provide key operational and administrative support for HR Services across APAC entities. This hybrid role offers exposure to international payroll processing and compliance in a dynamic, regional setting.

You will join a regional HR team supporting a global organization, handling payroll operations for multiple countries while ensuring accurate personnel records and engagement activities. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role (HR Shared Services background is a bonus).
• Strong experience handling payroll/HR operations for multiple countries or regions.
• Knowledge of local labor regulations and statutory requirements.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Customer-focused, result-driven, and skilled in effective communication.
• Motivated by engagement, collaboration, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage centralized payroll processing for multiple APAC entities.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, trainings, and engagement events.
• Ensure compliant document management for personnel files.
• Assist internal/external audits and statutory compliance.
• Liaise with regional HR services, payroll vendors, and agencies.
• Contribute to process improvements and HR operations best practices.
