Job summary

Belimo in Malaysia seeks a Technical Support Engineer within the Product Management team to bridge market needs with product development and business strategy in HVAC and building automation.

You will manage the product lifecycle, collaborate with regional and global teams, and translate customer requirements into actionable solutions, while supporting sales and engineering with technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Automation, HVAC, Electronics, or Information Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in HVAC industry, with damper actuators, VAV systems, and fire/smoke systems preferred.
• Strong English; Mandarin fluency is mandatory; MS Office, SAP, and CRM knowledge preferred.
• Ability to translate application requirements into product selection and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Understand market trends and customer needs to prioritize strategic plans.
• Develop product strategies and lifecycle plans; evaluate build/buy/partner options.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and launch product plans.
• Analyze market data and competitors to support new product requests and pricing.
• Communicate with Asia Pacific, global teams, and headquarters to reflect regional needs.
• Work with sales, marketing, and content teams to align product development strategies.
• Provide technical expertise in HVAC systems including Chiller Plants, PAUs, AHUs, VAVs, and data center fan wall apps.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders for seamless collaboration.
