Job summary

Daikin Malaysia seeks a strategic marketing and product development professional to drive competitive intelligence, market insights, and regional marketing materials for applied HVAC solutions across ASEAN–Oceania. You will collaborate with regional teams and support training and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC; experience in Data Centre/related projects is a plus.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the collection and analysis of competitive intelligence, market trends, and product benchmarking for applied products, including chillers and airside solutions.
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to develop and maintain engaging marketing materials such as videos, website content, and catalogues.
• Share market insights and updates with sales affiliates across ASEAN–Oceania to support growth and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct sales training sessions to strengthen knowledge of applied product technologies, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
• Consolidate and support compliance with regional applied product regulations.
• Work with factory R&D (airside) teams to translate customer needs into CTQ (Critical to Quality) requirements for new product development.
• Collaborate with airside factories to drive innovation and product development initiatives.
• Support airside product selection and optimisation for strategic projects in ASEAN–Oceania.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
