Job summary

Qualcomm Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. seeks a senior leader for Government Affairs to drive government engagement, policy advocacy, and ecosystem development across Southeast Asia.

You will influence policy with ministries, regulators, and industry groups while aligning HQ priorities with local market realities. The role demands 15+ years in public policy or regulatory affairs, deep APAC experience, and proven ability to manage distributed teams and present to C-suite executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in public policy, government, or related field.
• 15+ years in government affairs, public policy, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong experience engaging with senior government officials and regulators in SEA.
• Proven ability to influence policy outcomes and build coalitions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, monitor, and engage in emerging policy and regulatory frameworks across Asia.
• Engage with ministries, regulators, digital economy agencies, industry associations and policymakers to shape policy discussions.
• Advocate for technology-neutral, innovation-friendly policies across AI, cloud-to-edge computing, semiconductors, data centers, and digital infrastructure.
• Advance government understanding of Qualcomm technologies through structured engagement programs.
• Collaborate with business units, engineering teams, and partners to support public sector opportunities.
• Prepare briefing materials and coordinate senior leadership engagements with officials and partners.
