Job summary

TE Connectivity Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead policy governance and ensure compliance across the APAC region, including China. The role emphasizes local labor law alignment, HR governance, and continuous policy improvement.

You will drive HR policy localization, governance, and training, while coordinating global, regional, and local HR initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years HR experience in an MNC manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience localizing HR policies and handbooks across APAC countries, including China.
• Knowledge of local labor laws and HR governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and improve HR policies, procedures, and guidelines for consistency and compliance.
• Establish and maintain a structured policy management framework with documentation, approvals, and audit trails.
• Own the lifecycle of HR policies from drafting to retirement.
• Monitor local labor laws and regulatory changes and translate them into actionable HR policies.
• Assess compliance risks and update policies to mitigate exposure.
• Design and deliver training on HR policies and compliance.
• Lead execution of global, regional, and local HR initiatives and projects.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Support day-to-day HR operations and compliance reporting.
• Contribute to HR systems optimization and workflow improvements.
