Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist booking supervisor in daily booking and planning functions.
• Coordinate with CSSV for final loads confirmation.
• Ensure final loads are updated to the airline on time.
• Prepare Load Planning List and MAWB lists for shippers.
• Monitor and plan load dispatch to maximize profitability.

Job description

Summary

Perform daily booking & planning, preparation of allotment & BSA pre-booking. Booking & planning by region & work closely with customer service, operation & others related depts. Communication/negotiation with carriers for capacity & better buying. Be responsible to ensure shipment move with profitability. Support commercial team on the rates enquiry & obtain good rates from carriers.

Key Tasks

• To assist booking supervisor in daily booking and planning function
• To work closely with CSSV for final loads confirmation
• To ensure final loads update to airline on time
• To ensure timely issuance of Load Planning List
• To prioritise load dispatch as per guidelines set by shipper
• To prepare allotment MAWB LISTS to shipper
• To consolidate and plan load dispatches at minimum cost and maximize profitability
• To perform any other functions assigned by superior
• To prepare flight matrix when requested
• To ensure MAWB LISTS is being updated on weekly basis
• To monitor & prepare CV EQ report
• To supply/perform any other function assigned by Department Head

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or related field
• Good communication skill is required
• Able to work as a team & back up each other when is needed
• Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable to changing business needs and withstand pressure
