Job summary

Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd, based in Puchong, Selangor, is seeking a proactive Freight Forwarding Executive to coordinate air freight shipments from booking to delivery. The role requires 2–3 years of experience and strong knowledge of international air freight procedures and documentation.

You will work with customers, overseas agents, and internal teams, handling enquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring accurate billing and records. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in air freight forwarding or related freight logistics roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international air freight procedures, documentation and regulations.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software systems and MS Office applications.
• Understanding of customs procedures, import/export regulations and trade compliance.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with international partners.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with IATA regulations and dangerous goods handling is preferred.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and air freight shipment bookings.
• Coordinate shipments with customers, airlines, overseas agents and internal teams.
• Monitor shipments and keep customers updated on their status.
• Prepare and check shipping documents.
• Coordinate customs clearance and cargo delivery.
• Follow up on shipment issues and resolve customer concerns.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate accurate billing.
• Maintain shipment records in the company’s system.
