Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking a logistics professional in Penang to handle end-to-end air import/export shipments, coordinate with customers, airlines and agents, and prepare essential shipping documents. The role requires 1–3 years in air freight forwarding and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

The position offers 14 annual leave days, VB, group insurance, and full public holidays. Relevant diploma or SPM qualification is expected, with salary RM 4,000–RM 5,500 monthly.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in Logistics or related field.
• 1–3 years of air freight forwarding experience.
• Familiar with air freight documentation and customs clearance.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end air import and export shipments from booking to closure.
• Coordinate with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transporters to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare shipping documents including AWB, customs declarations and pre-alerts.
• Arrange airline bookings, trucking and customs clearance while monitoring shipment status.
• Manage freight quotations, vendor costing, invoicing and billing (AP/AR).
• Resolve shipment issues, respond to enquiries and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, ensure compliance and support daily operations.

Key responsibilities

Handle end-to-end air import and export shipments, from booking to job closure.

Coordinate with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transporters to ensure smooth operations.

Prepare shipping documents, including AWB, customs declarations and pre-alerts.

About you
