Job summary

Harbour-Link Group Berhad is seeking an Administration Officer to support daily shipping and forwarding operations, prepare documents, issue DOs, raise invoices, and maintain accurate records.

You will liaise with customers, lines, hauliers, and internal teams, handle customs forms, manage email and phone inquiries, and provide reliable administrative support to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics administration (fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge of customs forms (K1, K3, K8) and shipping documentation is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping and forwarding documents, including inward and outward manifest data entry.

Our roots go way back to 1975, where our company's founder started their careers in the early days of freight forwarding and shipping industry in the east Malaysian state of Sarawak. In the 1980s & 90s , when major petrochemical projects such as Malaysia Liquefied Natural Gas (MLNG), ASEAN Bintulu Fertiliser (ABF), and Shell MDS ( Middle Distillate Synthesis) Q began to establish their plants here as well as the mushrooming of timber related industries within the region, Harbour- Link Group was established to provide logistics services for these projects.

Harbour-Link Group Berhad stablished in 2002, consolidated all related business activities and was officially listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 6 January 2004. With its roots firmly planted in the shipping and total logistics services, engineering & construction industry for the past 36 years, Harbour-Link Group has grown steadily and built multi-disciplinary industry expertise covering a comprehensive range of services to fulfill its client's needs.
