- Manage and coordinate weekly tests, re-sit examinations and external examination administration , including preparation of papers, student lists, seating plans and examination materials.
- Support daily school administration , including student attendance monitoring, school correspondence, records management and administrative support to teachers.
- Provide administrative support for school trips, activities and events , including coordination of documentation, student information, payments, transportation, meals and parent communications.
- Support the preparation of the Secondary Newsletter and Yearbook , including collecting, compiling and following up on content from teachers and academic departments.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) , including meeting coordination, notices, communications and school documentation.
- Coordinate the procurement and distribution of teaching and learning resources , including quotations, purchase documentation, supplier follow-up, delivery and inventory records.
- Manage petty cash claims , ensuring proper documentation, verification and approval before submission.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of meetings, school events and activities , including refreshments, seating arrangements, materials and on-site support.
- Maintain accurate student records, administrative files and school documentation , including support for student transcripts and staff training registration.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties and provide general support to academic staff, teachers and SLT as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in administration, school administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with good attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with teachers, parents, students, suppliers and internal departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook .
- Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in school/examination administration, procurement or event coordination will be an added advantage.
- Responsible, proactive and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- This is a 4-month contract position to cover maternity leave. Candidates must be available for the full contract period.
