We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused, and highly organized Admin Assistant to manage our front desk and lead day-to-day operations at our Megan Avenue 2 branch. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face of our centre, excel in student and parent communication, seamlessly manage office administrative operations, and anticipate the daily needs of the training centre.
Act as the primary point of contact at the reception desk, warmly welcoming visitors, students, and parents upon arrival.
Oversee overall branch upkeep, ensure class readiness, and handle daily operational administrative duties to maintain a professional environment.
Professionally respond to student, parent, and public inquiries across various channels including WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, and walk-ins.
Provide detailed course and schedule information, assist with student registrations, process fee collections, and issue official receipts.
Manage student enrollment, track class attendance, and maintain accurate database records.
Coordinate timetables and classroom allocations efficiently between students, teachers, and management.
Monitor branch assets, keep track of teaching materials, and manage stock for pantry snacks, beverages, and office supplies.
Liaise with suppliers to place orders and negotiate basic pricing for centre upkeep and office necessities.
Support centre open days, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives as needed.
Mandarin: Spoken and written fluency is compulsory to effectively communicate with, support, and register our primary demographic of PRC students and parents.
English: Strong command of spoken and written English is compulsory to handle inquiries, coordinate operations, and assist Middle Eastern and other international students.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of administrative, front-desk, customer service, or reception experience (experience in an educational or language centre environment is an added advantage).
Friendly personality, strong organizational skills, and cross-cultural communication abilities to engage warmly with diverse international backgrounds.
Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of taking ownership of branch opening/closing and daily front-desk duties independently.
Resourceful and adaptable when handling student queries, walk-ins, or day-to-day branch operational needs.
