Istevin Champions is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our English teaching team and daily centre operations. You will work closely with teachers, students and parents to coordinate lesson materials, records and schedules.
Ideal candidates are well organised, detail-oriented and able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for events and classes.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our English teaching team and daily centre operations. This role involves working closely with teachers, students and parents while ensuring that academic materials, records, schedules and administrative matters are properly coordinated.
Administrative & Academic Support
Support English teachers with the preparation and organisation of lesson materials, worksheets and teaching resources.
Keep student information, attendance records and progress reports accurate and up to date.
Manage routine administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, document preparation and data entry.
Assist with coordinating class schedules, meetings, assessments and other academic activities.
Communication & Coordination
Assist with administrative communication between teachers, students and parents.
Coordinate notices, updates and other internal communication relating to English programmes.
Support the organisation of workshops, school events and English-related activities.
Help ensure information is communicated clearly and followed up appropriately.
Teaching & Resource Support
Maintain and organise both physical and digital teaching resources.
Monitor teaching supplies and assist with replenishment when necessary.
Prepare classrooms and learning spaces before lessons or activities.
Provide additional classroom support during assessments, presentations, workshops or special programmes when required.
Education & Experience
Minimum SPM; a Diploma in Administration, Education, English or a related field would be an advantage.
Previous administrative experience is preferred, particularly within an education or learning-centre environment.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia would be an added advantage.
Skills & Qualities
Well organised with good attention to detail.
Able to manage several responsibilities and prioritise tasks effectively.
Friendly and professional when communicating with teachers, parents and students.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

The position is primarily based within an education or language-centre environment. Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required depending on classes and operational needs. From time to time, assistance may also be required for special events, workshops or weekend programmes.
