Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a friendly, organized Receptionist / Front Desk Executive to manage our front desk and provide professional support to visitors, employees and daily office operations in Selangor, Malaysia. The role requires 1–2 years of experience in reception or similar, strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a presentable, professional demeanor.
You will handle mail, couriers, calendars and basic admin tasks, with occasional weekend work and overtime as needed
We are looking for a friendly, organized and service-oriented Receptionist / Front Desk Executive to manage our front desk and provide professional support to visitors, employees and daily office operations.
Manage daily front desk and reception duties, including greeting and welcoming visitors and guests.
Handle incoming calls, enquiries and correspondence professionally and courteously.
Attend to visitors and direct them to the appropriate employee or department.
Provide accurate and basic information to visitors and callers, as well as via email when required.
Maintain a clean, tidy and presentable reception area, ensuring necessary stationery, forms and materials are available.
Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail, documents and deliveries.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier services.
Monitor visitor access and maintain office security by following established procedures and maintaining the reception logbook.
Manage the ordering and replenishment of office supplies, stationery, pantry items, PPE and other general office requirements.
Handle daily newspaper tender-related matters and assist with website/online tender portal activities.
Maintain and update office calendars, contact lists and telephone directories.
Perform general clerical and administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and document handling.
Assist in ensuring the office and common areas are clean, organised and well-maintained.
Assist with food serving and table setup for Board of Directors and VIP guests during meetings, lunches or dinners.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Willing to work on weekends and perform overtime when required based on operational needs.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in reception, front desk, administration or a similar role.
Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, courteous and customer-service oriented.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages will be an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Responsible, punctual and well-presented.
Willing to assist with general office and hospitality-related duties when required.
Flexible to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
