Job summary

YonMing Group, a leading heavy vehicle parts distributor in Malaysia, seeks an Accounts Supervisor to manage the full set of accounts, ensure timely monthly closings, and maintain accurate financial records in line with standards.

You will supervise a small team, liaise with banks and auditors, assist in payroll, and help produce weekly and monthly management reports, budgets, and cash flow statements, while upholding high accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience in accounting, finance, or a supervisory role is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable, with a high level of accuracy in handling financial records.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Full Set of Accounts: Handle a full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Accounting Accuracy: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper maintenance of accounting records in accordace with accounting standards and company policies.
• Payments and Banking: Perform payments including bank transfers, telegraphic transfers, and banker’s acceptances; record bank receipts and liaise with banks on payment and foreign exchange matters.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile and maintain ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and overseas supplier statement reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and cash flow statements.
• Payroll Support: Assist in HR-related matters, including payroll preparation and processing.
• External and Internal Liaison: Liaise with internal and external parties, including bankers, auditors, and company secretarial agents.
• Administrative Coordination: Coordinate and support administrative activities related to finance and operations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
