Job summary

Talent Recruit is assisting a client establishing a new Shared Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur to support AP across the APAC region. The Accounts Payable Officer role involves processing PO and non-PO invoices in ESKER, coordinating payments, and ensuring policy compliance.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in general accounting, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong MS Excel skills. The position offers 13th month salary, meal allowance, and comprehensive group insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting & finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting and customer service, preferably in a shared services environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review and process PO and non-PO invoices in ESKER, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Prepare payment proposals, allocate payments in ERP, and manage exceptional payment requests.
• Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and respond to supplier inquiries promptly.
• Support process improvements by enhancing accounts payable procedures and driving efficiency.
• Process approved travel and expense claims and manage cash advances in the ERP system.

We are representing one of our clients who are now establishing a newShared Services Centre (SSC) in Kuala Lumpurto support finance operations across the APAC region.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and process PO and non-PO invoices in ESKER, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Prepare payment proposals, allocate payments in ERP, and manage exceptional payment requests efficiently
• Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and respond to supplier inquiries promptly

Job Requirements:

• Minimun Bachelor's degree or diplomain accounting & finance, or equivalent experience in a related field.
