Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to support our client’s new SSC-APAC in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves invoicing, account monitoring, collections, and month-end activities within a collaborative SSC environment.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and supporting ERP implementations. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 3 years’ experience, with ERP and Excel proficiency highly valued.

About the job Accounts Receivable Officer (SSC-APAC)

Company Background

We are representing one of our clients who are now establishing a newShared Services Centre (SSC) in Kuala Lumpurto support finance operations across the APAC region.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify inter-company and customer invoices to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions
• Monitor customer accounts, generate reports, and follow up on collections to support healthy cash flow.
• Collaborate with credit management and SSC teams to resolve queries and assist in month-end closing.
• Contribute to process improvements and support ERP system implementation to enhance efficiency.
• Allocate customer payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate records.

Job Requirements:

• Minimun Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting & finance, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 3years of experience in general accounting and customer service, preferably in a shared service environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and strong skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
