Job summary

Dagang NeXchange Berhad seeks an experienced Accounts Payable leader to oversee end-to-end AP operations for HQ Office, IT Division, and OGPC/DOSB, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and strict adherence to internal controls and signatory limits.

You will collaborate with Treasury on cash flow, manage ageing, support audits, prepare financial statements, and drive process improvements and automation to raise efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accountancy/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CPA/CFA).
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel; strong knowledge of internal controls and procurement policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP operations for HQ Office, IT Division, and OGPC/DOSB.
• Review and approve AP transactions; monitor ageing and ensure compliant payments.
• Coordinate with Treasury for cash flow planning and payment scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and audit procedures.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets and forecasts; analyse variances.
• Coordinate tax submissions with tax agents and regulators.
• Lead AP team and drive continuous process improvements and automation.
