Job summary

Genting Energy in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounts payable operations, focusing on payment processing, bank accounts administration, and adherence to internal controls and company policies.

You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payable transactions, maintain documentation for audits, and collaborate with internal teams and banks to resolve issues while contributing to process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• ACCA or CPA is an added advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and banking portals; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, focusing on payment processing and execution.
• Maintain bank account master lists and signatories, including KYC/AML updates.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.
• Provide reports for Accounts Payable and support audit requirements; assist treasury activities.
