Job summary

CEPCO TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a diligent Accounts Payable professional in Malaysia to manage invoice data entry, ensure accurate GL coding, and process payments promptly.

You will review invoices, prepare monthly AP payments, assist with year-end audit information, and help maintain clean, organized accounts for a small business.

The role requires a degree in finance or accounting and 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on use of accounting software.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business Studies/Professional degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems.
• Responsible, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
• Good interpersonal skills and a pleasant personality.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for Accounts Payable (AP) invoices with accurate GL codes.
• Review and verify invoices for proper documentation and approvals.
• Prepare monthly AP payments and ad hoc payments.
• Handle preparation of full sets of accounts for a small-sized company.
• Participate in annual audits and provide required information to auditors.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.
• Undertake tasks/projects to achieve organizational objectives.
