Job summary

Eco & Green Exhibition Sdn Bhd is hiring an experienced Accounts Manager in Batu 11, Selangor, to manage the full set of accounts, oversee accounting operations from A–Z, and develop robust SOPs and accounting systems that support growth and compliance.

The role requires hands-on expertise with SQL Accounting and ERP systems, preparation of financial statements, budgets and forecasts, and close collaboration with auditors, banks and tax authorities to ensure Malaysian standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing full set accounts.
• 5–7 years in accounting management or senior roles.
• Experience with SQL Accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regs, audit and financial reporting.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set accounts: AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
• Oversee daily accounting ops, month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Use SQL Accounting, ERP, Excel and other accounting software.
• Create, implement and maintain accounting systems, SOPs and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, variances and cost optimization.
• Ensure tax compliance and liaise with auditors, banks, creditors and tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and reporting.
• Supervise accounting staff and oversee all accounting matters from A–Z.
• Provide financial analysis to support management decisions.

About the Role

Eco & Green Exhibition Sdn Bhd is hiring an experienced Accounts Manager in Batu 11 (Near Sg Long/Mahkota), Selangor. The role requires a hands‑on accounting professional who can manage the full set of accounts, oversee accounting operations from A–Z, use SQL Accounting, and create accounting systems, processes, and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full set accounts: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.

Handle daily accounting operations, financial transactions, month-end closing, and year-end closing.

Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.

Use SQL Accounting, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software.

Create, implement, and maintain accounting systems, SOPs, processes, and internal controls.

Monitor financial accuracy, cash flow, budgets, variances, and cost optimisation.

Manage tax compliance and liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, creditors, and tax authorities.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Supervise accounting staff and oversee all accounting matters from A–Z.

Improve accounting processes and provide financial analysis to support management decisions.

Requirements

Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is an advantage.

5–7 years of experience in accounting management or senior accounting roles.

Strong experience in full set accounts and financial management.

Hands‑on experience with SQL Accounting is required.

Experience creating accounting systems, SOPs, workflows, and internal controls.

Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, audit, and financial reporting.

Experience supervising accounting staff or managing an accounting team.

Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

High attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and professional ethics.

Able to work independently and manage accounting operations from A–Z.
